The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what sin she was killed 9 And when the pages are made public 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 that hide, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And the breath of morning 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 he truly beheld [the angel - beheld] him on the clear horizon; 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
