The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
