The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
