The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Striking? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
