The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
