T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents, 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
