Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 and let him share my task, 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
