They will question you about the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes 105 and leave the earth a levelled plain 106 in which you shall find no crookedness or curvature. 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 He knows all that is ahead of them and all that is behind them, while the others do not know. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 And whosoever worketh of the righteous works, and is a believer, he will not fear wrong or begrudging 112 We have revealed the Quran in the Arabic language containing various warnings so that it may cause them to have fear (of God) or take heed. 113 Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge. 114 And indeed before this We made a covenant with Adam, so he forgot, and We did not find its intention (in him). 115
