Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission; most surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men. 65 It is He who gives you life, then makes you die; then He will bring you back to life again. Man is surely most ungrateful. 66 To every nation We appointed acts of devotion which they observe, therefore they should not dispute with you about the matter and call to your Lord; most surely you are on a right way. 67 If they do wrangle with thee, say, "Allah knows best what it is ye are doing." 68 Allah will judge between you on the day of resurrection respecting that in which you differ. 69 Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth? Surely this is in a book; surely this is easy to Allah. 70 And yet they [who claim to believe in Him often] worship [other beings or forces] beside God - something for which He has never bestowed any warrant from on high, and [of the reality] whereof they cannot have any knowledge: and such evildoers shall have none to succour them [on Judgment Day]. 71 When Our Signs are plainly recited to them, you will perceive utter repugnance on their faces and it all but seems as if they will soon pounce upon those who recite Our Signs to them. Say: "Shall I tell you what is worse than that? The Fire with which Allah has threatened those who disbelieve. That is truly an evil end." 72
