Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 for an appointed time". 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
