Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Or, are the treasures of your Lord in their keeping? Or, are they the controllers? 37 Or have they a ladder by which they could [ascend to ultimate truths and] listen [to what is beyond the reach of human perception]? Let, then, any of them who have listened [to it] produce a manifest proof [of his knowledge]! 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are overburdened by a debt? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Do they design evil plans? The disbelievers themselves will be snared by their evil plots. 42 Have they, then, any deity other than God? Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 So leave them alone until they face the day when they will be struck dead from terror 45 The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
