But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
