The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
