The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
