(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
