And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
