۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
