۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
