With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
