۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
