We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
