Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 As did the people of 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
