The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the night as it veils [the earth] in darkness, 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 By Him Who hath created the male and the female, 3 surely your strivings are divergent. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And believeth in goodness; 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need 8 and have no faith in receiving any reward (from God). 9 Surely We will ease his way unto adversity. 10 His wealth will not avail him when he falls into ruin. 11 Surely, in Our hands is guidance, 12 And to Us belong the End and the Beginning. 13 Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire 14 in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, 15 even he who cried lies, and turned away; 16 But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,- 17 Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 Except as seeking (to fulfil) the purpose of his Lord Most High. 20 He surely will be pleased (when he will enter Paradise). 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
