Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
