It is God who provides livestock for you, some for riding and some for your food: 79 and for you there are other uses in them, and that upon them you may reach a need in your chests, and upon them and on ships you are carried. 80 And He shows you His signs. So which of the signs of Allah do you deny? 81 Have they not travelled in the earth so that they may behold what wise hath been the end of those before them. They were more numerous than these, and mightier in strength and the traces in the land. But naught availed them of that which they had been earning. 82 So, when their Messengers brought them the clear signs, they rejoiced in what knowledge they had, and were encompassed by that they mocked at. 83 but when they saw Our punishment, they said, "We believe in God, the One God, and we reject the partners we used to associate with Him," 84 But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) Allah's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)! 85
