By the moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except those of the right hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills?
