Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
