Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
