The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
