The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
118 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers, 1 Those who in their prayer are lowly. 2 those who turn away from all that is frivolous; 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 And who guard their private parts, 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 and those who observe their prayers. 9 These are the heirs 10 Who shall inherit Paradise; therein they shall be abiders. 11 We created man from an essence of clay, 12 then We made him, a drop, in a secure receptacle (the womb). 13 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then lo! after that ye surely die. 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in right measure, and caused it to stay in the earth, and We have the power to cause it to vanish (in the manner We please). 18 We have established for you gardens of palm trees and vineyards with this water with many fruits for you to consume. 19 And created the tree that comes forth from Mount Sinai – that grows containing oil and curry for the eaters. 20 In the cattle, too, is a lesson for you. We let you drink of that which is in their bellies, and there are many benefits in them for you, and you eat of them, 21 You are carried by the animals on land and by the ships in the sea. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
