The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 And when the pages are made public 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 That run their course (and) hide themselves, 16 and the night that falls, 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
