Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
