The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
