The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
