No! By the moon 32 By the receding night 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 A warning for people -- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
