We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
