We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
