۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
