Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
