What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
