We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
