The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
