We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
