Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
