Then think of the Day We shall summon every community with its leader. Those who are given their Record in their right hand shall read the Record of their deeds and shall not be wronged a whit. 71 But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path. 72 And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend. 73 And had We not given thee strength, thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little. 74 Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper. 75 And they indeed wished to scare thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence, and then they would have stayed (there) but a little after thee. 76 This has been Our way with the apostles whom We sent before you. You will not find any variation in Our line of action. 77
