Is he whose breast Allah has opened to Islam, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah! They are in plain error! 22 Allah has sent down the best discourse, a Book, consimilar in its oftrepeated (verses) that the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the Remembrance of Allah. Such is the Guidance of Allah, whereby He guides whosoever He will; and whosoever Allah leads astray, he has no guide. 23 Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong-doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!" 24 Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not. 25 so God let them taste degradation in this present life; and the chastisement of the world to come is assuredly greater, did they but know. 26 We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition. 27 (It is) a Qur'an in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil. 28 Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not. 29 Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. 30 and then, behold, on the Day of Resurrection you all shall place your dispute before your Sustainer. 31
