3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all beings!' 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
