Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
