The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
