The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
